When timing your wedding day it is imperative to get the best use out of me as your wedding Photographer and to allow enough time for photographs, that you keep some important things in mind when scheduling your wedding day. Below is a sample of approximately how long things will take for us when doing your photographs. PLEASE NOTE: Other Photographers may work differently and suggest a different timeline. You should check with your Photographer on suggestions.
What a fantastic wedding! Victoria and Scott really did it in style with a wedding and reception following at the River Center in Davenport, IA. The oodles of gorgeous details in this wedding were literally jaw dropping and so fun to photograph! It was a chilly and very windy day, but the wedding party were real troopers as we drug them outside for some great shots. Clazzy designs did an outstanding job with decor and flowers an Old Towne Bakery provided a simply elegant cake! All we could say is WOW!

There was a LOT of finger crossing going on this weekend with a rain prediction of 75%, but we managed to get everything done without a drop before the downpour later that evening! Overcast sky's provided for perfect lighting conditions at the wedding of Alexis and Brian. Alexis and Brian were married at Olde St. Ann's Church at Pioneer Village at Scott County Park. I love this church and the surroundings....so many cool things to shoot! Reception followed at Traditions in Eldridge, IA.
Who needs to fly south for spring break! WOW have we ever been lucky this year with the weather....record breaking temps all last week and in the 80's! Wiz of Oz Photography took off this past weekend for Starved Rock State Park near Utica, IL to photograph the wedding of Natalie and Aaron. I was STOKED when Natalie and Aaron chose me to photograph their wedding, because I had never been to Starved Rock plus I thought they would be pretty cool to hang out with for the day!
The highly popular site Pinterest has been catching a lot of flack lately...copyright issues, Photographers getting their panties in a bunch...well here's my two cents on the subject for all it's worth. I love Pinterest and have even created a few boards which can be viewed here http://pinterest.com/wizofozphoto/. I love Pinterest more for shopping for super cool stuff and for sharing some of my work. YES, go ahead and PIN my images!
